Oak & Quartz: A Warm Transitional Shaker Kitchen

The homeowners wanted to transform their kitchen into a cohesive, highly functional, and modern space designed around the way they live every day. The renovation focused on eliminating outdated layout constraints, including awkward angles, pony walls, and cramped doorways, while creating a more open and seamless flow throughout the space.

The renovation created an open-concept kitchen with maximized counter space and improved circulation. The angled peninsula and raised bar were removed and replaced with a spacious, oak-stained center island that provides ample workspace and a welcoming gathering point. Pocket doors were added to the pantry for a cleaner, more streamlined look, while custom two-tone shaker cabinetry brought warmth, character, and timeless style to the kitchen.
