Ocean Blue Quartzite Transition: Custom Kitchen Remodel

This custom kitchen remodel transforms a dated, fragmented layout into an airy, high-end culinary hub. The new design replaces standard beige tiles and structural barriers with a seamless, open-concept transition from the grand entryway.

The centerpiece is the stunning, natural ocean-blue veined quartzite countertops, perfectly paired with full-height, grout-free porcelain slab backsplashes. Custom off-white shaker cabinetry anchors the space, while a steel blue-gray palette creates a sophisticated coastal aesthetic.

An open oak staircase frames the view leading up from a sprawling, multi-functional kitchen island. Floorplan optimization completely eliminated a restrictive doorway and awkward coffee bar between the kitchen and playroom, absorbing that square footage into an expansive, highly organized walk-in pantry. To maximize the footprint, the refrigerator was cleverly relocated into the nook beneath the stairs where the original, cramped utility closet used to be.

This dramatic before-and-after transformation elevates suburban living into an organic modern masterpiece built for entertaining.
